The CSD&M 2021 is organized by CESAMES and hosted by CSAA.

Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) [Host of the CSD&M 2021]
Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) was established in 1964. As the only national social organization in China’s aeronautical community, it is a member of the China’s Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and a full Member Society of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS) on behalf of the Chinese scientific and technological community. Created in 2009 as a spin-off of the industrial chair “Complex Systems Engineering” of the 200-years old Ecole Polytechnique, France, CESAMES is an international group specialized in complex systems engineering & architecting. Chinese Nuclear Society [Co-Operator of 4th CSD&M Asia]
Chinese Nuclear Society (CNS) is a non-profit organization representing individuals contributing to and supporting nuclear science, nuclear technology and nuclear engineering in China. CNS was established in 1980, and became a member of the China’s Association for Science and Technology (CAST) the same year. It is a member of Pacific Nuclear Council. CNS aims at promoting the advancement and peaceful use of nuclear science and technology, undertaking scientific and technical exchange, engaging in public communication, enhancing international cooperation and carrying out Conferences, seminars, workshops. There are 8 work committees and 30 technical committees. Its periodicals include the Chinese Journal of Nuclear Science and Engineering and the Computations Physics.
Department of Industrial Engineering in Tsinghua University [Co-Operator of 4th CSD&M Asia]
The Department of Industrial Engineering in Tsinghua University was initiated in the 1990s. Dr. Gavriel Salvendy, Professor of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University and Member of the United States National Academy of Engineering, was named chaired professor and founding department head. The department boosts experienced and capable faculty. There are more than 30 teachers and 30 teaching and research assistants. It also has more than 900 graduate students (including 580 students on the job and 80 foreign students). It aims to become world-class leaders in industrial engineering research and education, and contributes to increased quality of life, and increased standard of living in China and around the world. It has three institutes, including Institute of Operations Research and Statistics, Institute of Engineering Systems, and Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics. It also has four joint research centers.
Beihang University [Co-Operator of 4th CSD&M Asia]
Beihang University was founded on October 25, 1952 under the name of Beijing Institute of Aeronautics, originating from the merger of the aeronautical departments of Tsinghua University, Beiyang University, Xiamen University, Sichuan University, etc. Beihang is the first university in China focusing on aeronautical and astronautical education and research. Since its founding, Beihang has excelled as one of the first 16 key universities in China, given priority for development. Founded in 1964 by the researches voluntarily in the fields of national science and technology of ordnance and others related fields, China Ordnance Society (COS) is an academic, public welfare and national non-profit social organization. It is also a national society closely affiliated with the China Association of Science and Technology (CAST) and a full financial allocation public institution authorized by China Organization Office.
COS is an important channel for the defense and ordnance industry communication and takes a large number of international exchanges and cooperation tasks. The purpose of the society is to serve the defense construction and economic development by organizing and uniting the majority of ordnance scientists to focus on economic construction, carrying forward scientific ideology and promoting academic progress.
Chinese Society of Astronautics [Co-Operator of 4th CSD&M Asia]
Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) was founded on October 23, 1979 and became a member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) In September 1980. CSA is a professional association of individuals with an interest in space. As of 2019, the society has 38 specialized committees and 179 working committees with more than 30,000 individual members.
The purposes of the CSA are to expedite the development and popularization of space science and technology with astronautical professionals and technicians. CSA has held the 47th and the 64th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) and organized 2017GLEX and the first China Space Conference.
