Dr. Zhang is an MBSE expert, and a strong promoter of MBSE to the multiple domains including aerospace, automotive, transportation, and other related industries. He has multiple years’ experience of implementing MBSE/MBD in GE, and other Fortune 500 companies. His major technical work is Model-based System Engineering (MBSE) applications in the full-life development cycle of various industrial products including but not limited to requirement-driven engineering (RBE), requirement and architecture development, on-board systems modeling and simulation for Virtual Integrated Systems. His research areas include but not limited to: MBSE, requirement engineering, engine control, model-based development (MBD), modeling and Simulation. He is a certified Black Belt for Design for Six Sigma (DFSS). He was a senior member of IEEE, and a member of ASME and SAE.
