Wang Yiran, researcher, is currently the Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Astronautics. He is also the Vice President of the China Institute of Space Law. Meanwhile, he plays roles at the Ninth Committee of China Association for Science and Technology and the S&T Committee of the Sate Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, PRC. He also serves as the Secretary General of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Satellite Commercial Application Committee, and Director of the Research Center of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA). He has presided over the research on the development of aerospace 2030, aerospace white papers, aerospace legislation, etc. He is also engaged in the Overview of World Defense Technology Industry as the chief editor.
